Tapas at Tomino…NYC–

Delectable prawns make us happy–jaaaa!
Eggs, potatoes, pork…a trifecta that is muy bien–mmmhhmmm!
Flaming chorizo…uhm, YES!
Ice cream, sorbet and cognac at Odeon…just because…mmm, aaaahh!
The gringo is satisfied yet again.

March has roared into town like a lion, and we are hungry for some tapas…we head over to a joint called Tomino down on Grand Street in the ever-evolving zone betwixt and between Little Italy and Chinatown…

…this place is good…you should check it out.

During our visit we ingest various tasty tapas tidbits…flaming chorizo, ham and cheese croquettas, grilled octopus, egg-potato-pork mish-mash, giant prawns, squid ink rice, pan tomate, etc., and it is all delicious. Items are prepared with love…we can feel it!…and delivered to us with joy and enthusiasm…we are happy spending an afternoon gobble session here.

We wash everything down with a house G&T made with Galician gin–wonderful!…and glasses of Rioja along the way–soothing.

Come on down to Grand Street somewhere between Mott and Mulberry…pop into Tomino…and let the games begin as you enjoy tapas, beverages, the cozy atmosphere and the warmth of the Spanish folks running this sweet place…

…salud!

Time is short…eat and drink everything NOW!!

It’s lovely out there.
