It’s a heat dome, baby!

BAM!  It’s triple-digit heat out here in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, etc.. . .but as they say, it’s a dry heat, so no worries, right?  Right!  Plus, when it hits 108 the Buddha approves–108 being an auspicious number for everything Buddha…ommmmm…

The superduper heat index means that there are very few people out and about, and this is something that we always like.  We drive around in our car with the A/C blasting…we hang in our hotel room with the A/C blasting…we pop into the pool–no A/C to blast, the water is about body temperature–mmm, oh-so soothing:-). . .what a wonderful way to spend the upcoming 4th of July stuff.

The Phoenix, Arizona area is a special place: the desert focuses the mind…there is serenity in the air…one can almost feel the heartbeat of the planet here–or is that just the A/C conking out?  Blaaaaahh!  Once it conks out we just put the top down on our convertible, slather on more sunscreen, turn up the radio playing wonderful Mexican music, and head on down the road ready for whoever or whatever or wherever we are supposed to see and appreciate and visit…come on out here some time–fall/winter/spring are the best times unless you are intrepid like us–you will love it, I gar-ron-taaaayy!

Please be sure to see, appreciate, and visit everything around you wherever you are…it’s all good.  I send you desert gypsy vibes from the heart of Arizona. . .feel them. . .they will make your brain sizzle.

To see more stupendous images from around our teeny tiny planet simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .dive on in. . .you can go just about anywhere that you like right here, right NOW.

It’s lovely out there.
