It’s Polkafest here in New Glarus, Wisconsin. . .the sun is shining–lots of bees and things and flowers about…the breezes are warm…the midwest folk are chipper and joyous…and beer, bacon and cheese are everywhere for us to sip and gobble. . .WOW, not a bad day to be in our favorite dairyland town.
New Glarus is a must-visit if you ever do a tour of this great state. . .they have their own brewery making delicious beers–Spotted Cow and Moon Man are two of our favorites. . .our favorite restaurant in the whole state is here: Glarner Stube–absolutely wonderful. . .and the people here love to dance the polka–it’s the ‘fountain of youth…keeps the women young,’ as stated to us by a spright local of about 75 years of age…jaaa!!
I send you bacony cheesy beer-soaked vibes from Polkafest in New Glarus. . .feel them. . .they are good for your blood circulation.
