Fine Italian fare in Miami–

BAM!  Scott Conant has a branch of his famous New York restaurant down here in Miami Beach, and it is OUTSTANDING–jaaaa!!

Scarpetta is the name, and fine Italian fare is the game.  Right now we are busy gobbling the following items: king crab pasta–absolutely wonderful…lamb ragu pasta–magically delicious…poached lobster–MMM!…and a slow-roasted lamb shank that just kicks my butt cuz it is SOOOO GOOOOD!  All of this is washed down with a classico reserva chianti that makes us smile real-big-like.

Scarpetta is located in the Fontainebleau Hotel up on 43rd Street just off the beach here in Miami…the staff are extremely sweet and helpful…the vibe is kinda slick but we do just fine out on the deck area looking at the sea…the food ROCKS…and the beverages make us happy. . .can’t go wrong here.

Please consider eating at Scarpetta while in Miami. . .you will love it–I gar-ron-taaaayy!
