Dairyland Rubicon crossing–

YES!  We willingly cross the Rubicon to find a good Friday Fish Fry out here in America’s Dairyland, and today we have found a good one.  The place is the Pleasant Ridge Store…the location is County Road ‘Z’ on the outskirts of Dodgeville Town in the rolling hills of southwestern Wisconsin…the vibe is cozy and welcoming…and the food is extremely tasty–mmmm, aaaahh!

This place is as “exotic” as any other place that we have eaten in. . .it is remote, it is local, it is rural, it is authentic, it is surrounded by dairy farms, and it is unlike any other place within a 50-mile radius. . .we are happy to be here. . .the Pleasant Ridge Store helps us enjoy the passage of time, and in our book this is the biggest compliment that anyone can say about any dining spot.

Please consider eating at the Pleasant Ridge Store in Dodgeville, Wisconsin if you ever find yourself wandering around in this part of the world. . .you will love it–I gar-ron-taaaayy!

To see more stupendous images from around planet Earth simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .dive on in. . .you can go just about anywhere that you like right here, right NOW.

It’s lovely out there.
