BAM! After being closed for the month of February, the Glarner Stube is open again in New Glarus, Wiskonsen…jaaaa!! This might be our favorite dining spot in the entire state. . .seriously. . .this place is REALLY GOOD. They serve the most delicious weiner schnitzel and potato rosti that we have ever had outside of Germany/Switzerland/Austria. . .absolutely wonderful. . .plus, the atmosphere is totally cozy and inviting…the staff are efficient, spot-on, and welcoming…the taps are all New Glarus Brewery items–quite possibly the most magical beer in all of Wisconsin…and the food, again, is the highest quality imaginable for this type of cuisine. . .mmm, aaaahh!!
I would say that this is the one must-dine-at option if you ever find yourself wandering around in America’s Dairyland wondering what to eat. . .please, consider a visit down here–just a twenty-five-minute drive or so from Madison. . .book a room at the Chalet Landhaus, drop yer bag off, splash yer face, then walk on over to the Glarner Stube for the best Swiss/German meal that you can find in America. . .you will love it here–sehr gut!

It’s lovely out there.
