‘Estrellon’ is the Spanish word for ‘star,’ and we can say without a doubt that this place is a star on the dining landscape here. . .totally delicious. For our meal, we gobble a Spanish egg torte thing–delectable…a serving of Jamon Iberico that is only ok–impossible to serve this item correctly here in America because of restaurant regulation issues…spicy grilled shrimp–mouthwateringly good…a grilled octopus mish-mash thing–we love this…an absolutely wonderful paella with crunchy socarrat–GET IN MY BELLY…and a cranberry sorbet–mmmm! All of this is washed down with a Rioja that makes us smile real big-like.
Estrellon is run by a dude called Tory Miller who is a food star in Madtown–2012 James Beard Award winner, owns other ‘famous’ spots here called L’etoile and Graze, and, as far as I can tell, knows how to cook some tasty grub–so we have no problem recommending that you consider dining at Estrellon if you ever find yourself wanderin’ around town lookin’ to satisfy yer hunger. . .you will be satisfied with this food, I gar-on-taaaaayy–muy bien!!
