YO-YO-YOOOO! The Napoleon House here in The French Quarter of New Orleans is one of our favorite spots for sippin’ and gobblin’ good stuff. The bartender has worked this bar for many years, and he always has a twinkle in his eye as he prepares Pimm’s Cups and Sazeracs for us. . .good man! Plus, the house muffaletta is delicious–we inhale one without any problem at all–jaaa!!
This historic building was recently sold to The Brennan Family–the royalty of New Orleans hospitality–for somewhere between fifteen and eighteen million bucks. . .they have organized the operation a bit, but the space still feels the same: old, rustic, warm, cozy, and inviting–good work, Brennans!
The next time you find yourself in NOLA you gotta stop in here for a drink and a gnosh. . .The Napoleon House is located on the corner of Chartres and St. Louis Streets nearly smack dab in the middle of The French Quarter–so easy to find, and so easy to leave behind…mmmmm, aaaahh!
