BAM! This is it, the number-one-rated breakfast joint in all of Green Bay, Wisconsin: The Pancake Place located just outside the heart of town.
There is a line when we arrive at about 11:30 a.m.. . .I hate waiting in line for breakfast, but we have read wonderful things about this place so we dive in and wait. We are seated after about thirty-minutes–not too bad. . .we order coffee, and they bring a big pot for us–YES!. . .we order the locally-sourced and freshly shredded hash browns, and they are delectable–really tasty with bits of peppers and onions mixed in and perfectly seasoned. My wife gets some simple eggs over easy and sausages with her hash browns, and I go for the ‘classic’ stuffed hash brown plate that includes ham, bacon, onions, peppers, and eggs my way–today I have them over extremely easy so that I get lots of runny egg yolk happening, and all of this is topped off with a side order of sausage gravy just to add that extra bit of mush and creaminess that makes brekky so good. . .mmm, aaaahh!
This stuff is tasty. . .really good–the potatoes are apparently grown on a farm that the owners run nearby, which provides extra freshness and delectability. . .we are glad that we waited for the top-rated breakfast in all of Green Bay. We, of course, recommend that you do the same if you ever find yourself hangin’ out in Packertown. . .find The Pancake Place, put your name on the list, and wait for the goodness that they serve up here–it’s well worth the effort. . .jaaaa!
I send you hearty vibes from The Pancake Place in Green Bay, Wisconsin. . .feel them. . .they are oh-so good for your belly.
