BAM! It’s the European Football Championships, and we are enjoying them with Champion American Bloody Marys. . .jaaa! Our bloody mary recipe includes tomato juice (of course!!), lime juice, lemon juice, pickle juice, worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, garlic powder, coarse-ground black pepper, celery salt, and fresh-prepared horseradish. . .you gotta blend all of this stuff together and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight to get the full flavor integration that makes for a good bloody mary mix. . .then we take some vodka–the cheaper the better, in my humble opinion–and pour it over ice in a substantial glass, fill up the glass with the bloody mix, and then we add garnishes–today we have fresh celery stalks, tasty cocktail onions, and baby dill pickles. . .mmmmm, aaaahh! This is damn good. . .I think I’ll have another. . .and another. . .and another. . .
