Lower Manhattan…revolutionary New York…waaaaay downtown. . .whatever you want to call this section of New York City there is no denying that it is a fascinating place to wander around. Skyscrapers sit next to 18th century taverns and churches. . .19th century bridges and row houses sit next to modern condos. . .and intermingled among all of these glorious and historic buildings are cozy little bars, cafes, and pubs just waiting for us to have a seat and sip on something good and soothing. . .mmmm, aaaahh!
George Washington walked these streets. . .Alexander Hamilton strolled these alleyways. . .Aaron Burr snuck around these corners and so many others did their business here as the country we call the United States of America was birthed, nurtured, raised, and set free to do its bidding throughout the world. . .wow, heavy stuff. I think it’s time for a potent adult beverage to help bring me back down to planet Earth.
I send you free-flowing vibes from lower Manhattan here in New York City. . .feel them. . .they are not to be trifled with.
