French on Carmine–

IMG_2685 IMG_2688 IMG_2690 IMG_2693BAM!  There is a new French place in the West Village section of Manhattan on Carmine Street called Gloo, and we love it!  The restaurant is crawling with French dudes making this, serving that, explaining those. . .a German chick is running back and forth delivering our orders to the kitchen staff, bringing us wine, checking to be sure that we are satisfied–and satisfied we are.  We inhale a tasty charcuterie platter, we gobble cheeses on breads and leeks covered in a delicious sauce. . .we slurp up a delectable Provencale veggie soup–mmm, aaaahh!!. . .and we devour a wonderful salmon fillet on a bed of greens–superb!!…all washed down with a satisfying and reasonable rose–jaaa!!  The menu includes all locally-sourced and ‘organic’ items…we are told that it changes every week…we will have to pop in here every week to see what future delights they whip up at the delightful Gloo.

I send you totally satisfying vibes from Gloo. . .feel them. . .they are good for your overall disposition.
