There is no time for crappy food or drink. . .time marches on, and we keep eating and drinking the best stuff that we can find. For example, the Norwegian salmon poached egg latke thing at Minetta Tavern here in New York City. . .throw a little Hollandaise sauce on top and serve with a side of thick-cut bacon cooked crispy on the outside and and juicy on the inside. . .douse with Tabasco, and we are good-to-go. Wash it all down with a couple of spicy bloodys, and we are even better-to-go. . .leap day never tasted better–mmm, aaaahh!
