Day 93…seafood on a street corner–

IMG_0629 IMG_0628 IMG_0627 IMG_1783So, we have a rumble in our bellies in the afternoon that we need to address. . .the answer today is our local seafood joint serving up tasty fried tilapia, delectable large prawns in black pepper sauce, and clams in some sort of chili sauce–DAMN, this stuff is GOOD!

Nomadic wanderers like us are always on the lookout for delicious seafood served up on streets corners even in the landlocked region of Chiang Mai up here in northern Thailand.  Somehow these folks are sourcing wonderful fruits of the sea and cooking them up nice and spicy–Thai-style, of course–so that folks like us can satisfy our craving for food that is packed with flavor and good for you too. . .mmmm, aaaahh!

Next time we will snap some photos of the folks who run this street-side shack so you can celebrate them along with us, but for now all you need to know is this: the place is called Sub Seafood…it is located right next to the Chiang Mai Police Station in the center of the Old Quarter…they are open every evening seven days a week…you must eat here when you visit.  That’s it.

I send you swimmingly delicious vibes from the heart of Chiang Mai. . .feel them. . .they will make you big and strong.

To see more amazing images from around our teeny-tiny planet simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .dive on in. . .you can go just about anywhere that you like right here, right NOW.

It’s lovely out there.
