Day 86…great grilled fish–

IMG_0587 IMG_0592 IMG_0593 IMG_0594BAM!  Here we are puttin’ a major feed on at a place called Lert Ros located on Ratchadamnoen Road Soi 1 near the east gate here in the Old Quarter of Chiang Mai.  The specialty of Lert Ros is grilled fish–grilled Red Tilapia, to be specific–and they do a great job with this dish.  The grills are open-air and charcoal-fueled, the vibe is open-air and extremely relaxed, and the folks who run this place are sweet and totally accommodating–a delicious experience all-around. . .mmmm, aaaahh!

We order our fish, we order some fermented pork bits, we order some tom yum just to see how it is, and we order a big Leo beer to wash everything down.  When we are done the bill comes to about nine dollars U.S.. . .a massive bang for our buck that makes us extra happy and satisfied with our meal here.

If you ever find yerself wanderin’ around in the Old Quarter of Chiang Mai, please seek this place out. . .you will love it–I gar-ron-taaayy!!

I send you slightly charred vibes from Lert Ros here in Chiang Mai. . .feel them. . .they are good for your digestive tract.
