Day 67…The Sanctuary–

IMG_0427 IMG_1320 IMG_0472 IMG_1356MMM!  Today we settle into our island home, The Sanctuary, Koh Phangan, Thailand.  This place is a series of bamboo huts, shacks, and houses built on wooden and concrete stilts around, in, and on a rocky hill here in the southeastern section of Koh Phangan on a bay called Haad Thian, and it is wonderful.  The Sanctuary has a fabulous restaurant and bar full of all kinds of food and drink that includes raw cleansing dishes, Thai classics, western treats, pizza, juices, beer, liquor, etc.. . .all vegetarian and seafood–no meats, and you know what?–it’s all delicious!  I am taking this opportunity to cleanse my body a bit by only drinking juice and eating tofu and veggies, but on Thursday they have an open-mike night here so I might just have to let loose a bit, have a beer or three, and play some tunes with whoever shows up…jaaaa!!  Whatever happens and no matter how much cleansing we do all is good here. . .not a lot to complain about–especially love that our toilet is built into the side of a large granite stone…encourages one to have solid movements–mmmm, aaaahh!

I send you especially simple and straightforward vibes from The Sanctuary on Koh Phangan. . .feel them. . .they are good for your digestion.
