Day 51…Vietnam Women’s Museum–

IMG_0133 IMG_0008 IMG_0007BAM!  I love Viet Nam…I love women…I love museums. . .so it makes sense for us to visit the Vietnam Women’s Museum as our nomadic wanderings continue here in Ha Noi.  My friend in the striped sweater above is a director in the Vietnam Women’s Union, and some of her team members curate and run this museum. . .very nice to be able to have lunch with her and hear about all of the great work she is doing with the Union, the Museum, etc.  Also, my wife is totally enjoying viewing the many displays inside the museum that cover various ethnic groups throughout Viet Nam, textile design and manufacture, women’s roles during various military conflicts, marriage rituals, women’s health issues, etc.. . .all of it is edifying and lovely–jaaaa!

The Vietnam Women’s Museum is a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours while in Ha Noi. . .you learn some stuff, you see some stuff, then you go to lunch and get stuffed. . .we love this Museum, and I know that you will too if you ever find yerself lookin’ for somethin’ to do while taking in the sights and sounds of Ha Noi…hoa binh.

Feel the good vibes comin’ atcha right NOW. . .they are full of feminine wiles and joy.
