We are feeling calm walking through these buildings and around these grounds. . .we are feeling grounded as we sense the pulse of this place, this town, these people. . .mmm, aaaahh. . .I keep thinking about a line I read recently in Vladimir Nabokov’s autobiography, ‘Speak, Memory,’ where he recounts his love for catching and cataloguing butterflies. . .he says that when he does this work and fully gives over to it he feels ecstatic because he is “connected to the sun and the stones.” The sun and the stones. . .connected to them. . .connected to all matter, to the universe. Our nomadic wanderings are helping us feel this. . .do this. . .become more connected to all around us. . .to really feel these connections. . .this is happening for us today here at the National Museum of Cambodia. . .it is most wonderful!
I send you humbly interconnected vibes from the National Museum of Cambodia. . .feel them. . .they are good for you.
It’s lovely out there.
