So, we start the day with brunch at Souths on Church Street in the Tribeca section of Manhattan here in New York City, and it is totally satisfying. In the top photo above you see my mish-mash of items that comprise the Irish Breakfast. . .black and white puddings, ham, sausages, beans, and three sunny-side-up eggs. . .mmm, aaaahh! I love the Irish Breakfast at Souths, and I know that you will too if you ever get a chance to check it out.
The next three photos are from our dinner at Costata located on Spring Street in the Soho section of Manhattan. You see the ‘tomahawk steak,’ aka, the “costata,” laid out nicely in its serving dish. . .you see my empty dish with remnants of the pasta dish known as Garganelli al Fiamma–it is so good that I couldn’t stop gobbling it before snapping this shot. . .and finally you see me and a family friend gnawing on the tomahawk steak bone in preparation for devouring the meat itself. . .jaaa! You gotta move fast with this crown otherwise you will go hungry.
Our nomadic wanderings continue, and it is good to know that we are taking on lots of fuel to ensure that we don’t get worn down.
I send you energy-packed vibes from Souths AND Costata. . .feel them. . .they are both most-worthy of your attention.
