BAM! It’s the Whitehorse Tavern in the West Village section of Manhattan, New York City. Yes, this place has been operating here since 1890…yes, this is the place where Dylan Thomas sucked down 18 shots of whiskey in a row before dying suddenly back at the Chelsea Hotel…yes, this is the place where crowds of drunken folks party the night away seven days a week. . .and yes, they have a surprisingly good brunch–I gobble the homemade hash and eggs, fyi–with really tasty bloody marys. . .mmmm, aaaaahh! So, the next time you find yerself wanderin’ around on upper Hudson Street in the West Village lookin’ for some grub, stop in here. . .you will love it, I gar-ron-taaaay!
I send you hearty and long-standing vibes from the Whitehorse Tavern. . .feel them. . .they will make you feel real good.
