Our host, Pasqualino, serves up some of his personal stash of prosciutto, capocollo, and salsiccia di Castro dei Volsci along with my leftover pizza, sheep’s milk cheese, olives, acqua frizzante, and lots of red wine for our breakfast this morning, and I cannot be any happier or more satisfied. . .perfect way to start the day–salut!
Everything tastes great! I mean this is regular everyday food for the folks here in Castro, and it is all tastier than anything available to us in the U.S.. . .place, temperature, local flora, warm breezes, atmosphere, and people all contribute to the overall deliciousness of all of these products. . .bellissimo!
