Here we are in the hometown of my great-grandfather. His name was Loreto Nerone, and the town is called Castro dei Volsci, located in the Lazio region of Italy about 90 kilometers south of Rome. Just chillin’ out…hangin’ with my peeps. Some of the dudes above actually look like some of my uncles and cousins back in the U.S.. . .yes, even the burro cuz we all have a few asses in our families. . .in fact, some times even your humble author, yes me, acts like an ass or a burro or a donkey or a mule or whatever these creatures happen to be. All I know is that there is nothing quite like waking up to the sound of a burro attempting to mount his mate in the morning. . .we all know what can be like, right fellas? Ee-ore-ee-ore-ee-ore!!–smooth sailing all the way–
Anyway, I send you hometown vibes from Castro dei Volsci. . .feel them. . .they are full of joy and sweetness and wildness.
