William the Conqueror worked here–

IMG_0156 IMG_0160 IMG_0165 IMG_0178WOW!  William the Conqueror himself actually had this mound built way back in 1068 or so. . .WOW!, all I can say is, WOW!  This mound and the tower that you see that was built upon it as the original keep of York Castle are magnificent remains of the glorious history of York and the surrounding countryside.  Every English King since the eleventh century has spent time here doing this and that. . .conducting business. . .defending the nation from marauding barbarians in the north. . .maneuvering for power, etc. and so on.  So fun to walk in all of their footsteps, breathe their air, and feel their vital vibes.  I love hanging out in and around Cliffords Tower, and I know that you will, too, if you ever find yourself wandering around York lookin’ for somethin’ fun to do.

I send you long-running vibes from Cliffords Tower. . .feel them. . .they are life-sustaining.

To see more amazing images from around our teeny-tiny planet simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .dive on in. . .so much to see and sooooo little time.

It’s lovely out there.
