BOOM! Here we are tooling around in England. . .bloody ‘ell! Landed at Heathrow, grabbed a car, and headed north. . .didn’t even stop to spend any time in London because we want to get out of town and see if we can experience some of the rural and “real” England. . .ja, ja, jaaaa!! So, I gotta get used to driving a right-hand drive car on the left side of the road while taking in the lovely yellow springtime fields everywhere we look. . .mmm, aaaahh! We grab some savoury snacks along the way called “pasties”–veddy nice, pastry filled with meats and sauces and veggies and such–then we end up in York for our very first pints of the trip. . .yes! Nothing like a delicious bitter served up by a fire after an arduous 4-hour drive from London. We like it here A LOT. . .I hope you can visit York some time, it is waiting to embrace you and give you a fine English welcome. . .Yorkshire Pudding, anyone? Yes, I will have another, please. Cheers!
I send you warmly human and richly historic vibes from York, England. . .feel them. . .they will put a big smile on your face that will not go away for days and days.
