Botataung Pagoda…Yangon–

IMG_0316 IMG_0318 IMG_0320 IMG_0324Some folks tell me that they get tired of visiting endless pagodas and temples in Southeast Asia. . .not I.  Each and every one of the pagodas and temples that we visit here–especially in Myanmar–are unique and fascinating.  They are all puttin’ out good vibes. . .soothing vibes. . .non-judgmental vibes. . .uplifting vibes. . .mmmm, aaaahh!

The Botataung Pagoda here in Yangon is wonderful with lots of large Buddhas sitting in the open air as they have been doing for thousands of years–Botataung (which means ‘1,000 military officers’ in Burmese) has been here for 2,500 years or so–wow!  The Buddhas were all here before you and I were, and they will all be here long after you and I are gone. . .they are to be respected.  What an honor to visit this place. . .I send you long-lasting vibes from Botataung Pagoda. . .feel them. . .they are a thousand times good for you.

It’s lovely out there.
