Dar’s gold in dem dar pagodas–

IMG_0293 IMG_0292 IMG_0289 IMG_0288BAM!  It’s a golden room inside a pagoda here in Yangon, and in the very back is a sealed-off smaller room with a lock of the Buddha’s hair. . .at least this is what we are told.  Whether the relic is real or not really doesn’t matter. . .what actually matters is that one believes it is real–this is sometimes referred to as ‘faith.’  Nevertheless, this room is spectacular, and it is an honor for us to have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of millions of others who have trod these very halls. . .this very ground. . .this revered spot.  I love checkin’ out the various relics of the Buddha here in Yangon, and you will too if you ever find yourself hangin’ in the old capital of Myanmar (Burma).

I send you golden vibes from Yangon. . .feel them. . .they are much more pleasant than golden showers.

To see more amazing images from around our teeny-tiny planet simply click on a location of your choice in the category menu on the ‘About’ page of this blog. . .do it. . .so much to see and soooo little time.

It’s lovely out there.
