WOW! The food here is tasty-tasty-tasty!! Above you see us dining at a place called Shan Yoe Yar–which means “traditional Shan”–here in Yangon, Myanmar. We are blown away. . .some of the things we gobble are baked garlic clams, herbal minced chicken, Shan-style sour vegetable soup, fried fish with tamarind sauce, fried soft-shell crabs, a giant fried egg-white concoction with seafood soup poured into it, etc. and so on. . .all of this stuff is extremely delicious, and all of it is washed down with a Sauvignon Blanc grown in northern Myanmar, Shan State–totally drinkable–surprise!! I love dining at Shan Yoe Yar, and I know that you will too if you ever find yourself lookin’ to put a feed on in central Yangon.
