BAM! Time for some sippin’ and gobblin’ on the banks of the Hudson River here in New York City, and there is no better place for this than Merchants River House down in Battery Park City. The beer is crisp, the fish & chips are tasty, the staff is chilled-out, and the views are magnificent. There are oh-so few places available in Manhattan for dining right on the Hudson–not sure why–which makes Merchants extra special. . .so get on over here winter-spring-summer-or fall, and get ready to ingest some decent victuals while taking in a world-class view of one of the most important geographical locations in U.S. history: the mouth of the Hudson River. . .mmm, aaaaahh! George Washington surely gobbled some lunch near this location once or twice. . .why shouldn’t you?
I send you well-situated vibes from Merchants River House. . .feel them. . .they are most-worthy of your attention.
