POOF! Here we are makin’ the scene at a lovely place called Blue Smoke on 27th Street in Manhattan, New York City. Blue Smoke is Danny Meyer’s slick homage to BBQ with tasty spare ribs, baby back ribs, brisket, chicken wings, roasted oysters, smokey housemade potato chips with a delectable bacon dip that is absolutely gobble-worthy. . .plus so much more. We gobbled all of this stuff, and it is good. . .not the best BBQ. . .but really really good served up by a super-chill staff with easygoin’ vibes all around. To wash everything down Blue Smoke has a wide array of whiskeys, wines, and beers. . .I sampled some rye and a couple of pilseners–everything satisfied my thirst quite well, thank-you-very-much. I love puttin’ a feed on at Blue Smoke, and I know that you will too if you ever find yourself wanderin’ around in the Kips Bay section of Manhattan lookin’ for somethin’ delectable to ingest.
I send you smokey vibes from Blue Smoke. . .feel them. . .they have staying power.
