HAO-HAO! Here we are puttin’ a feed on at our favorite soup dumpling place in Chinatown, New York City. I am sure this place has a name. . .I think it is Shanghai-something-or-other, but the only thing that you really need to know in order to find it is the address: 100 Mott St. This is how we refer to this place. . .”time for some dumplings at 100 Mott Street,” we say, and BOOM we head on over and gobble some goodness. The more famous soup dumpling places, of course, are Joe’s Shanghai and Joe’s Ginger–these are perfectly serviceable soup dumpling locations, but the dumplings at 100 Mott St. are slightly richer and juicier, in our humble opinion. Anyway, try them all and decide for yourself which dumplings are the most delectable. . .and then let me know. My money will always be on 100 Mott. . .mmmm, aaaahh!
I send you tasty and soupy vibes from 100 Mott St.. . .feel them. . .they are soothing and good.
