So let me get this straight: in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana one goes to the Fruit Stand to get Delicious Boiled Seafood. . .got it. Fortunately for us this place happens to serve up a tasty pile of spicy boiled shrimp, AND they sell beer–fabulous! When we place our order our clerk tells us that the shrimps are a bit hard to peel, “Is that ok?” he asks us. We say that it is no problem. Another worker then approaches us and mentions that the shrimps are, indeed, a bit hard to peel–they are telling everyone just to be on the up-and-up. . .again, we say that this is no problem. And it is no problem because once we get these babies back to our cabin on the Bayou Teche, we sit down and inhale the whole pile of goodness that you see above–these babies are GOOD. Damn, I love gobblin’ boiled shrimp down here in Cajun Country, and you will too if you ever find yourself lookin’ for boiled seafood in the city limits of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.
