BLAM! Here we are puttin’ a feed on at a sweet restaurant called Coquette, located on Magazine Street down here in New Orleans. Most restaurants in NOLA are closed on Sunday evenings but not Coquette. . .they are open for us, and we are damn happy to be here. The dining room is cozy and lively (avoid sitting upstairs if at all possible–that’s where they seat the blue-hairs), the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the wines are reasonable and dry (we rocked with the Txakolina from the Basque region of Spain–niiiice!), and the food is delectable and full of flavor. Above you see me sippin’ away at the bar as we wait for our table, below is our charcuterie board–yum-mee, and below that is an appetizer of figs, parmesan, and other tasty items. . .we gobble all of this and more. . .mmm, aaaahh! We love Coquette, and I know that you will too if you ever find yourself wandering around on Magazine Street in NOLA lookin’ to satisfy a rumbly belly.
I send you warm and relaxing vibes from Coquette. . .feel them. . .they are oh-so good for you.
