POW! Here we are at the famous L Street Tavern in South Boston, aka, “Southie.” This is the roughneck section of town where lots of fascinating pubs and taverns exist and where lots of people get their asses whooped occasionally. The L Street Tavern is famous now mainly because it served as a filming location for the movie Good Will Hunting, which starred Robin Williams, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck. There are photos on the walls of Robin Williams visiting here. . .Matt and Ben brought him here before filming started to help him get a taste of what ‘Southie’ or South Boston is all about. It’s not as rough here as it used to be according to a friend of mine, but other places like Murphy’s Law still have a real edge to them. So, if you come to Southie be careful, be respectful, and drink up cuz the beer is cold and the conversation is free-flowin’.
My lady followed me to the L Street, as you can see above. . .I recommend that you find a lady, a real intrepid lady, and see if you can get her to follow you here. If you succeed, then she is yours for life.
