Wong swan song–

photo 2 photo 3 photo 5BAM!  Here we are puttin’ a feed on at the wonderful Simpson Wong restaurant called, you guessed it, Wong, located on Cornelia Street down in the West Village of Manhattan.  We love eating the shrimp fritters, the cha ca, and the typhoon lobster–three totally delicious dishes. . .mmmm, aaaahh!  Sadly, Simpson is closing this place on July 31. . .boo!  But the word is that he is going to keep the space and retool the restaurant into some sort of Vietnamese street food establishment that will open in September or so.  We are very excited to see what new ideas that Mr. Wong comes up with, and you should be excited too because I guarantee that the flavors will be exotic, bold, and tasty-tasty-tasty.

I send you rejuvenating vibes from Wong. . .feel them. . .they will make you say, “yum!”
