Rice and rambutans–

photo 2IMG_0049Thailand produces just about every kind of rice that you can think of: jasmine, long grain, short grain, white, brown, red, etc., and it all can be found in Warorot Market in Chiang Mai. . .mmmm, aaaaahh!  Plus, July is rambutan season here, and there are mountains of this delicious fruit everywhere. . .we buy them, eat them, buy more, eat more, etc. and so on. . .jaaaa!  There is no one going hungry in Thailand. . .delicious food is available 24/7 here. . .I eat a lot of it because there is very little fat involved in the Thai diet–easy to eat heart-smart in this wonderful country.  We love browsing through and eating in the markets in Chiang Mai, and you will too if you ever find yourself wandering around here lookin’ to put a feed on.
