…of the Matterhorn, and Everest, too. Mmmm, aaaaahh. . .the Alps are spectacular mountains in western Europe–above you see views of the Matterhorn taken from the ski slopes of Zermatt, Switzerland. . .jaw-droppingly gorgeous to be there, to ski there, and to see there. The Alps are quite manageable and enjoyable because they are for the most part at a relatively low altitude compared to our friends the Himalayas. At the very top you see me taking in the views of Mt. Everest from the top of Kala Patar–quite possibly my favorite spot on planet Earth–this place literally takes your breath away as the top of KP is just over 18,000 feet above sea level. . .and Everest is another 11,000 feet higher. Amazing, no wonder so many folks die up there every climbing season–truly a death zone when one is in it. . .but soooo glorious to take in from a safe vantage point. I love the Alps and the Himalayas, and you will too if you ever ever find yourself looking to truly get-away-from-it-all.
I send you crisp clean vibes from some fabulous mountains of the world. . .feel them. . .they will take you higher.
