DSCN3088 DSCN3086‘ello, ‘ello, ‘ello.  You know where I am now, yes, I know you do.

London is one of the world’s truly great cities.  So much history, so much to see and do and eat and drink.

Above are some of my favorite symbols of this town.  Do people use phone booths anymore?  I don’t think I have ever seen anyone in a London phone booth, but they are still all over the place.  Love ’em.

And you also see the Battersea power station or at least the remains of it.  Also a classic symbol of this town primarily because of its appearance on the cover of the ‘Animals’ album by Pink Floyd.  You may remember that it has a giant inflatable pig floating above it on the album cover.  Soooo evocative of. . .I don’t know. . .pigs. . .pork. . .tastiness. . .waste. . .who knows.

Cheers.

It’s lovely out there.
